Oriental Pavilion, Jaya 33

Went to Oriental Pavilion for dinner last Saturday night with my family and darling. Lucky I've made early reservation (on Thursday) .. wanted to book for a private room, guess what? All taken.. The private rooms looks so exclusive, see through glasses, and I really like the entire restaurant's designs which I feel comfortable dining there.

So, what did we order? My brother was in charge that night, Let's take a look at the pictures ...
Here's the first dish,

This is the taufu, I don't know what's the name they call this dish, the base, they use the "bo choy" and top up with taufu, they toop with some mushrooms. This dish is not that bad, it's like an ordinary taufu dish to me, nothing special. The sauce is a bit too starchy, maybe they should re-adjust on that part :)

This is the "Salted Egg Deep Fried Prawn". It's rich with salted egg yolks, two thumbs up for this!!! yep... The taste is just nice. The chef garnish the side with onions strips which I finish that up too ...I would definitely order this dish again when I'm there ... :)

This is the "Smoked Chicken", from the name, yep, indeed when u taste it, there's smoke taste in that chicken. It's something different and everyone really enjoyed this dish. The greens are "Yau Mak", it's raw, the chef mixed it with some salad sauce, it's just a bit of salad sauce ... this dish is good too ...

Apart from the 3 dishes that I've mentioned, there are two more that my brother ordered, "Kai Lan" (vegetable) and also the pork which serve with buns " .??? " sorry I forgot what's the name of that dish
Both of these are pretty fine too ...
Later then when everyone is done with their dinner, brother asked me whether or not I would like to have desserts~~~ ... YES of course - YUMMY!!

He called the on of the captains, guess what? they don't have a menu and what they did was tell us out verbally ... weird huh? Maybe they just open a week ago, they don't have the full menu for the patrons ...

This is mom's and my dessert - Aleo Vera with Sea coconut boiled with longan. Tell me, does it looks appetizing to you? and the sides, messy sides, this is how they serve it to me . Don't feel like eating it huh? hahhaha. ... Anyway I took a dessert spoon, it doesn't taste good, no sea coconut taste at all, just a few strip of aleo vera and those brown colour thingy is longan... definitely a ZERO for this ...

Dinner ended .. thanks to my bro, the bill came up to about rm300++, a bit pricy~ hahah
Go and try peeps, let me know about other dishes ... : )
